Hard-Stop Rules¶
These rules must never be violated. Violations require immediate halt and review.
- Never allow dangling references in triplet logic relationships
- Never introduce ambiguous or duplicate term definitions
- Never break backward compatibility of taxonomy schemas without migration plan
Mandatory Rules¶
These rules must be followed in all circumstances.
- All terms must have unique, unambiguous definitions
- Triplet logic must be complete (subject-predicate-object)
- Cross-domain terminology must be validated for consistency
- Ontology graphs must be updated with every schema change
Preferred Practices¶
Best practices that should be followed when possible.
- Use formal classification hierarchies with clear parent-child relationships
- Provide relationship graphs alongside schema definitions
- Include cross-domain terminology mapping tables
